現在形っていつ使うか知っていますか？

今回「現在形」を少し復習しましょう。さあ、いつ使うっけ？？？　（知らない使い方もあるかもしれないので、是非確認してください！）

 

①時間と関係ない事実、固定的・永続的な事柄、普段から起きていること（ルーティーン）

例　(時間と関係ない事実)：　
　Lions eat meat. They don’t eat vegetables.
　What do gorillas eat? 

 

例　(固定的・永続的な事柄)：　
　She works for Toyota.
　He lives in Kameoka. 

 

例（普段から起きていること（ルーティーン））：　
　I play guitar every day. 
　She goes to the gym three times a week. 
　Nina eats steak for breakfast. 

 

②未来：時刻表に記載されるもの

例：　
　My flight departs at 5:30 p.m. 
　The last train leaves at 12:00 a.m.

 

③デモンストレーション、コメンタリー、指示、ストーリー

例（デモンストレーション）：　
　First, I put two slices of bread on a plate. Then, I spread the peanut butter on one slice, and the jelly on the other. 

 

例（コメンタリー：野球のキャスターのダブルプレーのアナウンス）：　
　”Johnson throws to Davis at second base, Davis throws to Smith at first — double play!”　

 

例 （指示：道案内）：　
　A: How do I get to the post office?” 
　B: You go straight to Main Street, then turn left…

 

例（ストーリー）：　
　So I open my eyes, and I see someone at the end of my bed. He says, “I want to borrow your shoes…”
