The Dentist: 口や歯に関する表現

先日歯医者さんの定期的なクリーニングがありました。有難いことに虫歯などの問題はなかったです。
せっかくなのでこの機会を利用して、「歯・口」に関係ある語彙や表現を紹介しようと思っています。
まず口の基本なパーツを見ましょう。下記の図をご参考下さい。

よくある口に関する表現
oral: 口に関係する・口腔（形容詞）
oral hygiene:口腔衛生
dentist: 歯医者
oral hygienist: 口腔衛生士 → ここに「-ist」の接尾語があります。意味は何かに携わる・信じる・する人です。
例：artist（芸術家）; machinist（機械工）; pianist（ピアニスト）; novelist（小説家）; activist（運動家；活動家）; socialist（社会主義者）; communist（共産主義者）; Marxist（マルクス主義者）
lips: 唇 → 一個だけは「lip」で、上の方が「upper lip」で、下の方が「lower lip」です。
tooth / teeth: 歯 →「tooth」は単数形；「teeth」は複数形
gums: 歯ぐき
brush your teeth：歯を磨く → 注意点として、「brush teeth」や「brush tooth」はダメです。お母さんが子供に命令するような発言だったら、「Brush your teeth!」になります。一般的なアドバイスを言う時は「You should brush your teeth after every meal.」御覧の通り、「your / my」みたいな所が必要です。
floss your teeth: 歯をフロスする。上記の注意書きを参考してください。
gargle：うがいする
例：When you have a sore throat, gargle with salt water. → 「___でうがいする」と言うのは「gargle with ___」になります。
mouthwash：マウスウォッシュ
toothbrush：歯ブラシ
dental floss：糸ようじ・フロス
cavity：虫歯
cleaning：歯のクリーニング
canker sore：口内炎
My tooth hurts. : 歯が痛いです。→「tooth」を色々変えることが出来ます。例：My neck hurts. (首が痛いです。)
「mouth」や「teeth」が入っている慣用句
watch your mouth : 話し方や言葉遣いを気を付けること。特に悪い言葉や失礼な言い方を避けること。このフレーズも文章にもなれます。
例：Jimmy! Watch your mouth! You shouldn’t speak like that in front of your grandmother!
big mouth：秘密を守れない人。好きなことをどんどん言う人。生意気。自慢する人。又はその喋り方。
例：Don’t tell Nancy about this. With her big mouth, the entire company will know before the end of the day.
例：Nancy is a big mouth. She can’t keep a secret.
put your foot in your mouth: 人の前で恥ずかしいことを言ってしまうこと。
例：Joe Biden put his foot in his mouth at a press conference when he called the president of Egypt the ‘president of Mexico.’
bad-mouth (someone): 人の悪口を言うこと。
例：When you have a job interview, you shouldn’t bad-mouth your previous employers.
armed to the teeth：あらゆる武器を山ほど持っている状況。
例：The terrorist group was armed to the teeth. They had more weapons than the army.
